Booking the Hall

Ferard Room - 5m x 4m


If you are interested in booking the hall, please contact the hall bookings team, who will check the diary and advise if your preferred date is available. You will then need to complete a booking form and pay a security deposit by cheque. The deposit is held until after the event and then destroyed. Hire charges are invoiced after the event to be paid to the hall bank account.

FACILITIES

The Hood Memorial Hall comprises a main hall, a smaller committee room (the Ferard Room), a fully equipped kitchen, toilets and shower. The main hall has a number of tables and chairs, a sound system, projector (HDMI and DVD).

The outside space is not available to rent privately, but is accessible to all private renters. The outside space includes a patio area with picnic tables, a children's playground and a large field. There are a number of car parking spaces at the front of the hall, (which are also available to users of the playground).

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

The hall is licensed and that licence can be used to cover your event for a fee. Other optional extras include a stage, a bouncy castle, table tennis tables and even a skittle alley! We can also erect marquees in the outside space.
